Choose Dial up Network

 

 

Choose Make New Connection

 

 

Type the name you want to give to your connection (example : Megaweb or ITI) , then press Next

 

 

 

 

DO NOT WRITE IN AREA CODE  Now enter the phone number that the employee from

Internet Globale gave you. Note if you live outside the island of Montreal this is the  example

to follow 5143938687 if you live on the island then use this example 3938687 choose Canada

for country code then press Next

 

 

 

 

Click Finish

 

 

Now you are back to the Dial up Networking box, you should be able to see the connection you

just created go on it and click on the RIGHT SIDE OF YOU MOUSE ON IT choose propetise

 

 

 

 

It will bring here

 

 

 

Everything should be fine in the general option click on SERVER TYPE

 

 

 

 

In this box two things has to be selected  ENABLE SOFTWARE COMPRESSION

And  TCP/IP then click on TCP/IP settings

 

 

 

Server assigned IP address should be selected and Specify name server addresses witch in this

one you will enter  those two DNS Primary DNS 65.38.64.1 Secondary DNS 204.19.108.24

and the two option of the bottom has to be selected Make sure your screen is the same as this

example Now click ok  twice to get back at the dialup networking box

 

 

 

 

Click once again on the the right side of your mouse on the connection you just created

and this time select create shortcut

 

 

 

 

This will show up select yes then close the dialup Networking box. Search for the icon you just

created  and click on it twice with the left side of you mouse

 

 

 

 

Enter your username and password then verify if the phone number is good then select connect
